About the version being prepared for App Store · 12 September 2026

Email [email protected].

Tell us what you were doing, what happened, your device model and your Hoedex version. You can attach a screenshot after hiding private names and notes. Do not send passwords, sign-in codes or your complete journal.

Recover your journal

Sign in with the same account and provider—Apple or Google—that you used to save it. Those providers create separate accounts, even when the email matches. Before changing phones, check in Settings that your changes have been saved.

Without an account, your journal stays on that device. It is not automatically restored if you delete the app or change phones.

Restore Hoedex Pro

Open Settings → Hoedex Pro and tap Restore Purchases on the unlock screen. Use the same App Store account that purchased Pro. This account is independent of the Apple or Google account used to save your journal.

Privacy and deletion

You can delete your account from My profile. The app explains which server data is deleted and which encounters remain on your phone without an account. You can delete those encounters separately in Settings. Read the privacy policy or email us with a request about your data.

A problem with shared content

Use the menu on a friend's profile to report content you can see and optionally block that person. To raise another concern or ask us to review a decision, email support. Include the report identifier if you have one; you do not need to send your journal.

Read the shared-content rules. The support contact is David Santacruz, who operates Hoedex.
